Firefox Tweak for Fast Browsing

In previous posts i have given some tips and tricks, now comes the tweak part for Firefox. Follow the steps given below to experience a difference in your browsing speed:

Step 1: Write “about:config” in address bar (without quotes)

Step 2: Search for entry “network.http.pipelining” and change its value to “true”

Step 3: Search for entry “network.http.proxy.pipelining” and change its to “true”

Step 4: Set entry “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” to anywhere from 30 to 50.

Step 5: Right Click on the page and select New, then Integer. Name it as “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and put its value as 0

That is it. You have done. Now restart your firefox and get ready for a speedy browsing.

How To Reset Your Windows Password When You Forget It

Well, most of people think that its really hard to get the password of your system if you have forgot it. Well.. its hard but not that much. Now you can reset your password by yourself easily. You just need is your Windows CD. You simply need to boot from your Windows CD. After you get the Welcome screen, go to Windows setup option by pressing Enter key. After that you need to select the windows partition which you want to reset the password. Let it continue until it reaches. Press R to begin repair process. After that you need to press R and it will start copying files. On the next automated reboot ,Do not press any key when asked to boot from CD. When you see the Installing Devices progress bar, press SHIFT + F10 . A command console will now open up giving you a wide access to the system. After that you need to type NUSRMGR.CPL and press Enter key. You will get Graphical access to User accounts now in the control panel. Simply change or reset your password from there. So try this thing when next time you forget your passwords.

Thinking about Farewell...

Today is 21/March/2010, and I am writing this blog because i've just thought about our farewell from college,,,,,,thinking about farewell,,,,,flashbacks my mind to the first day of my college,,,,how i 've spend my four years here,,,i.e. my adorable collage Jamia Millia Islamia,,, made some concrete friends and some noticable P.Rs..

Well at first day of my college as I remember ,it was a very humid and sweaty day,,,and at that time i thought "How i m going to spend my four years here Like thiss!!!!!!!!!!!" coz its always a pleasant conditions out dere in Dehradun,,,,,.....anyhow,, i get used to it...
Days and days passes,, exams crosses us every month,,,,,,,assignment threaten us almost every week but we h've successfully crosses every hurdles,,,,friends r always dere to help us...

There is always an immense pleasure in BCing with friends,,,,,i think its the best part of our college life,,,, college + hostel life Its the one of the best thing that could happen to ur life....i m always greatful to my frnd who filled this four years of my life with such a fantastic moments......

As days r passing like a seconds,,,,our past days becoming more n more precious ,,
and its becoming more n more difficult to think about the farewell ...........

......................i wish ,,,,,all will get their goal of life...

My First Blog---> Introduction

Hi this is Navneet Singh Rawat. I am final year student of B.tech. in computer Engg. (2006-09) from faculty of Engg. and Tech. Jamia Millia Islamia and hopefully got a placement in TCS this december.
As this is my first bolg i concentrate mostly about telling you about my self. I was born in Chamoli district at my native village in Uttrakhand. I spend nine (1991-99) year of my life in Lucknow. This Lucknow effect can be easily be seen in my clear hindi accent. Next eight years (1999-06)
was spend in Doiwala town of Dehradun . I studied in Doon Public School Bhaniyawala Dehradun
upto +2. There are many great memory related with this place as i spend 90% of my teen life here.
In 2006 i cracked Engg. entrance test of Jamia Millia Isalmia New Delhi and got addmission as student of B.Tech computer engg. and in this december i got a placement in TCS .
The industrial life is totally a new life. and I am eagerly waiting for it ..............
